Surgery4Sebastion

So Sebastian just got surgery and he's feeling pretty out of it. He's in a lot of pain and has really just been zoning out and sleeping since we picked him up. His painkillers have a sedative in them so that's why but it's still very disheartening to see. His butt is shaved. It looks like he's wearing a fuzzy sweater and boots. He also got one of the shame cones. I'll post a pic later. Anyways, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE!!!! I haven't gotten anyone donating yet, and I don't have the money to pay for his surgery. I got an interest free loan but I have to make monthly payments and I don't have any money so if anyone wants to donate, that'd be great. Just sayin'. So as well as pay for the surgery, I also have o pay for physical therapy to get him to learn how to walk again with out two of his joints.

PLEASE DONATE!!!!! I'm having a really hard time trying to keep up with school and trying to job hunt. I'm taking all the jobs I can get, which is zero. I'm asking around everywhere I can. I really need some help. You can donate here:

Sebastian Might Die

So my cat, Sebastian, might have to be put down. When we got into California, we noticed he was limping and then the limp got bloody worse until he couldn't use his back legs entirely. We too him to the vet and he has two fractions on growth plates in both of his hip joint. Now, he has the have a surgery to get the balls in the joints and the growth plates out. If we don't, he'll forever be in pain and he'll develop severe arthritis which is why we'd put him down. The operation cost 1700 for each side. So, I'm hunting down more jobs so that I could get the money for him.

It sucks.

CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Christmas is definitely a lot of fun for a non-religious person. I mean in the ps week I've had five religious assignments in school and about two or three in band.

But there is one upside: being a jackarse. People are always like "Merry Christmas or Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate" and it's fun to be like "I honour the traditional Pagan Holiday celebrating the Winter Solstice."

Just cuz.

Well, I said it to on of my friends today and he started asking me "What's that?" and "Pagan? What?" And I tried to explain to him that Jesus was actually born sometime around March-July and that the Christian church just said that he was born in December because they wanted Pagans t convert. Well, he started arguing with me about it. He didn't even say anything of value. He just said "no, he was born... he was born Christmas. What are you talking about?" and looked really shocked and confused and then drove off.

I also feel really left out of everything. It's like, I want to celebrate it because it's fun but I feel kind of wrong doing so because I'm not Christian. It's like someone saying they're English but then only knowing how to speak French. Actually, now that I think about it, that's a perfect way to describe it.

Also, I've only ever gone to church once and it was because they gave me free food. They almost converted me, too. So naturally, I don't know any of the songs. Everyone expects you to know the songs but I don't want to know the songs!!!!!For instance, today, it was the only time my english teacher will ever give out extra credit points and we were working on euphemisms so the sheet was all Christmas songs titles that had been euphemized and we had to turn them back. Well, they were all religious songs and the only ones I got of my own accord were Deck the Hall, Frosty the Snowman, and Silent Night. All the others I borrowed a friend's knowledge for. I better have gotten all of them on there!!!!

So, just for all of you non-religious people out there who feel left out, come and join me in my celebration of the Winter Solstice!!!!!

I tend to say sorry a lot to you guys.. well, sorry!!!!!! I know I hven'tposted anything in a while but for the past two weeks I've been having tons of test and projects and work. BUT IT'S CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!! YAY!!!! So I can actually post things now!!!! I'm going to be posting some projects I've been working on as well as some more of my normal style posts. Well, I've been working non-stop now for 20 hours so I'm going to bed and I'll see you al tomorrow!!!! The cat video should be up soon.

Okay so it probably won't be up for like a week or two...

Sebastian

So we have a cup on our bathroom sink that serves as a cat bowl because the cats really don't like drinking water from anywhere else (for some reason). Well, Sebastian always has to dip his paw in it first as if to make sure it's actually water and not just a mirage.... I guess... He's actually our smart cat like if there's water or milk at the bottom of a glass, he'll tip it over to get to it. Well, this time, when he was doing his paw-dipping ceremony, he knocked the glass over and then proceeded onto the floor to investigate the cup, only to find that the floor was wet. And he kept looking up at me and shaking his paws out (only to set one shaken paw down to shake out another and then have to shake it again) looking like

why is the floor wet?

And he would get out of the water and be like

it's dry over here?

and then he would walk back into the water an be like

why is the floor wet?

and the entire time he just kept looking at me with this look like

are you going to get me water or not?

Anyways, he made a bit of a mess and I did not have fun cleaning it up. I sang this song the entire time:

I tried to sing it in a loop with myself but that didn't really work.

So I know I've been saying I'm going to make a vid that introduces my cats, but I haven't really had time to do it yet. I was going to try doing it on my winter break when I have time.

We hit 1,000 page views!!!! Yay!!!!! (Well, 1,001) So I'm going to work on the video of my cats and we''l see! It might be up in the next week or it might take me a month. Hopefully not that, but we'll have to see.

So My Cat

My cat likes to mess around in my dresser and crawl up and down the back side of the drawers and into other drawers so I only had one of them open and she crawled in, crawled down o the lower one and then somehow managed to close the only open one and rap herself inside. I finally investigated the mysterious scratching noise and found this:

Bloody cat just peekin' out at me. Look at those eyes just begging you to let her out. XD Rukia, everyone, everyone, Rukia.

A little while later, her brother, Sebastian came along to help. Great going, cats.

It occurs to me that I have yet to introduce my cats to you guys. Maybe I could do that when I get a 1000 pageviews XD I only need 2 more and I was thinking of how to celebrate it so why not a video and cats? Perfect!!!!!

Happy Things

This a vid I watch when I need to laugh and right now, with my grandma, it would definitely come in handy.

MOOzik and WATERMELON!!!!!!!!!!

So my band is doing a winter concert and I'm part of percussion. I though that I would be out of town for the concert (or really I said that just to get out of actually doing anything) and now, they've "found out" I will be in town and have assigned me parts. Let's see, I have three (technically four) pieces.

1. Patapan (I play bells for this one)

2. Serengetti Dreams (or spaghetti dreams)
I play really any mallet instrument for this one. We haven't decided yet but I'm pretty sure I'm going on vibes for this one.

3. Deck the Halls
I play Marimba (my favorite) for this one.

So this isn't really a big deal except for the concert is on Saturday and they have yet to give me the music for it!!!!! I don' sound terrible (we did some run throughs yesterday) but I don't particularly sound fine either... IDK we'll have to see....

Also, for the fourth song, there isn't any percussion that plays in it so the band director is making us sing. TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS SONGS!!! So... this kind of goes against my religion....

The one upside is that, if we don't know the words, the director said we could fake it and sing "watermelon" instead. The entire time we were rehearsing, I didn't hear one verse sung correctly. It was more like

"Hark the Herald angel sings WATERMELON, WATERMELON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watermelon, watermelon watermelon watermelon!!!!!!"

What was even funnier was the fact that the percussion instructor was singing with us and he was belting our "WATERMELON!!!" louder than the rest of percussion combined. I couldn't sing half the time because I was laughing at him.

It was kind of fun though.

A few hours later...

So a few hours after my last post and I haven't moved forward at all. There's been a lot less crashing which I am very happy with (I took my mate's laptop) but their laptop is a lot more high tech than mine and therefor I don't know how to work the applications like I know how to work the ones on my laptop. It's been taking a little while longer than I had hoped but mine wouldn't have worked whatsoever.

So far I've gotten all of the videos imported into the program and tried to figure out how to import videos but it didn't really work.. I'll have to figure out how to do that later. Anyways, there is a lot more stuff to edit than I thought there was and the person we recorded, when he was talking, he usually always had his head down. The good part about taping twice means that for all of the times his head was down, there was another time when his head was up. Now, I have to go through and cut out all of the head-down stuff and that's taking a while. Not to mention, the program is a little buggy and as a new user of a new version (it might as well just be a whole new program) it's basically sucking. If my laptop actually worked, This probably would've been done a while ago. Or if I had already known how to work this one.

My cats, Rukia and Sebastian, have decided they would join me for the night.

It's now 6 am, I haven't slept at all, and I have to go to work. I would appreciate getting ready some what slowly so I'm going to have to go now. Good bye and good morning!!!!

So I've learned how to type one-hande because my cats tend to like to lie on one of my arms and it's slightly annoying but I don't want to move them because they're so cute... I blame you, Sebastian!!!!
