So this blog is mainly about anything I want to post about as well as anything anyone would like to say about anything I post about. This will mainly be geeky stuff and nerdy stuff. Acutally, it will all be geeky and nerdy stuff because there is really nothing else worth while in this world... is there?????

Final Vest Picture
So it's going to be a while before I can get the pictures up (I know!! I'm sorry!) but I can show you the vest as I wore it to the theater.
Black dress shirt, TARDIS vest, red converse, Union Jack sunglasses, sonic screwdriver. I was wearing pants, as well, but those are boring.

Dying to Forget/ Remember/ Return
So there's this series on Nook/ Kindle (I think it might also be on Amazon) called the Station series by Trish Marie Dawson. I finished TWO books in a few weeks and it only took that long because my Nook doesn't hold a charge and I had to keep charging it.
It's about a girl who commits suicide and then after she dies, she is taken to this station where all the people who commit suicide go. They are put through training and then they are put into the heads of people on earth who are dangerously close to committing suicide and, by making suggestions to the sub-concious, they try to get them into a place where they aren't depressed anymore and their lives are looking a whole lot better.
It's an interesting series (a little depressing) but interesting and it isn't really about suicide anymore after the first book and a half. Then it's more like sci-fi aliens and stuff. Anyways, It's a really good series and I suggest that you guys read it!!!
This is the first book cover. The next one is Dying to Remember and the one after that is Dying to Return.

Tardis cosplay (vest)
So two day ago, I had a showing of Doctor Who 50th anniversary to go to and I wanted to cosplay as a TARDIS. I ran all over town to countless Good Wills and Salvation Armies trying to find something TARDIS blue that I could work with. I didn't want to start from scratch because I didn't have much time and I'm not that skilled. Therefore, I was trying to ind a shirt, sweater, scarf, ANYTHING that was TARDIS blue, The best thing I found was nurses' scrubs. I found TARDIS blue nurses' scrubs. I don't have a picture of what it started out as, but this is basically it.
So first, I stared off with separating the collar from itself. On side came out nice and pretty but the other side I had to eventually sew back together. So I tore through all of the stitches and did that. Then, I had to take the sleeves off. I took me a good hour and a half to get all of the stitching out. I'd say it was another half hour to form new hems for the sleeves. I was panicking at this point, because I had about an hour left. Then, I cut own the middle of the scrubs and formed a hem there. I didn't have the time or skill to put the buttons on soI just left it unbuttoned. I had about half an hour left at this point, and started putting electrical tape on (I was going to use fabric but I didn't have it or the time.) I made a rectangle of white electrical tape on the right side and then wrote the stuff on it with sharpie. I know, it sounds bad, but it was actually really cool. People fangirled as I walked by. I then had a black dress shirt to go underneath it and a blue scarf. Completed it with Union Jack sunglasses, red converse, a sonic screwdriver, and I had a hat like this.

All in al, it actually looked really cool. My hair is short like David's and my friend like to play with it so by the end of the night, I had become a David Tennant-TARDIS mash-up. It was AWESOME!!!!!
I will put up the full picture later when I have them all on the computer and everything.

Korean Food
So, in case you didn't know, I really like Korean food. It is really good!! Bibimbap and Dokboki are some of my favorites! My mom, however, does not like Korean food and it upset her stomach. Something about it being too spicy XD Anyways, culturally, they always talk to the man or the old person and I was the only man and my granny was the only old person but my mm really likes to run the show. She's a leader, not a follower. The waitresses (when we went today for lunch) only addressed me or my granny unless my mom spoke to them. I tried to warn my mom about it but, thankfully, she didn't seem to notice or to take offense. Anyways, I said anyongnaseo when I walked out and enjoyed the look on their faces as all the Korean families and Korean waitresses all stared at me in shock like "Wow! An American twink just said good bye in Korean!!!" It was fun. It was really delicious too and now I have a ton of Korean food left over in the fridge which makes me even happier. Who's having Korean for the next day or two? I AM!!!!!!!!!!

Old Folks' Home
So today I took my granny to an old folks' home for vets and it was quite nice. It was one of the rare sunny days and it looked absolutely GORGEOUS. I think she's going to like it there (if she ever gets in. Seriously, terrible admittance system) but it was a gorgeous place, really big rooms, good food, and she'll be really close to me. She seemed to really like it and so did her husband. YAY!!!! While we were there, hough, all of the old people tended to keep looking at me. I was wearing a sweater and dress shirt today (cuz why not) and so I looked very posh, especially with my new haircut, and I think that was the reason.. everyone there was so old. There were rarely any young people at all! I think the youngest I saw was in her thirties! It was like an old folks' home run by old folk! And they were all talking about how they were stationed in Germany or in Korea because it was a Veterans' home and it was kind of depressing me...... Despite seeing countless creepy old people,
it was still very butiful.
