Nobody knows what's happening in Venezuela, not even the people of Venezuela. A lot of people don't even know that something's going on due to a country-wide media shut down. Social media networks are flooded with misinformation so that when someone posts a fact, everybody thinks it's another piece of misinformation. Basically, all that's known is that nobody knows anything.
Help people find out what's going on! If you're in Venezuela, good luck. You have people on your side. Try to hook up the media again. Get people past this problem of lack of information.
I hope you're all alright.

Got My Semester Grades
So I just got my semester grades from school back in London and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I got As in everything except for a high B in my advanced class. I'm looking forward to getting the same grades here, across the pond, and getting that one B up. That's my goal in school right now.

surgery4Sebastian
So Sebastian just got surgery and he's feeling pretty out of it. He's in a lot of pain and has really just been zoning out and sleeping since we picked him up. His painkillers have a sedative in them so that's why but it's still very disheartening to see. His butt is shaved. It looks like he's wearing a fuzzy sweater and boots. He also got one of the shame cones. I'll post a pic later. Anyways, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE!!!! I haven't gotten anyone donating yet, and I don't have the money to pay for his surgery. I got an interest free loan but I have to make monthly payments and I don't have any money so if anyone wants to donate, that'd be great. Just sayin'. So as well as pay for the surgery, I also have o pay for physical therapy to get him to learn how to walk again with out two of his joints.
PLEASE DONATE!!!!! I'm having a really hard time trying to keep up with school and trying to job hunt. I'm taking all the jobs I can get, which is zero. I'm asking around everywhere I can. I really need some help. You can donate here:

Sebastian Might Die
So my cat, Sebastian, might have to be put down. When we got into California, we noticed he was limping and then the limp got bloody worse until he couldn't use his back legs entirely. We too him to the vet and he has two fractions on growth plates in both of his hip joint. Now, he has the have a surgery to get the balls in the joints and the growth plates out. If we don't, he'll forever be in pain and he'll develop severe arthritis which is why we'd put him down. The operation cost 1700 for each side. So, I'm hunting down more jobs so that I could get the money for him.
It sucks.

Internetz Withdrawl
It's currently 5:12 am and I've been up all night first watching Cry's live stream, http://www.twitch.tv/cryaotic, and then going and starting to watch videos on You Tube. I haven't been able to be on the internet for the entire past two weeks because of all of my crazy makeup work that I have to do and I'm going through withdrawl. Someone pleas help me!! D:
My goal is to stay up until 7:30 because then it will have been the first time I've stayed up for 24 hours. I know, sad goal, but it's a goal.
I've been cleaning and working and doing shit for the past two weeks and I needed an escape to the internetz.

My U-KISS Feelz R Damaged
So in the time that I was stuck in the snow storm and couldn't go anywhere, U-KISS came and went. Watching the MNET stuff on them isn't helping, either. It makes me want to meet them more than anything else. It'd be so awesome to meet them! They all seem like really cool people and I think we'd all have a ton of fun together!!! Also, Eli tweeted me because I was complaining about how I couldn't be there but he tweeted me back saying "well, you should still be there anyways" and now all of these people are following me and retweeting my tweets. LOL Thanks Eli.. I guess... XD
Just, y'know sitting here in lonliness and misery, folding paper cranes. I'm trying to make my own U-KISS concert by blasting a playlist on their mooziks as loud as I can, but it's just making me sadder.

Dear World
I am tired of people telling me I'm not a Buddhist or I'm not a practicing Buddhist or that Buddhism isn't a religion.
Let me get a few things straight.
I am a practicing Buddhist. I meditate and I believe in the philosophies. You are a Christian if you believe in God and the teachings of the Bible. If I am a practicing Buddhist, I am a Buddhist, thank you very much. People do not know what goes on inside of my head and what I do to practice my religion in my free time. I only meditate when I am alone and people are not around. That might be why people don't think I practice. Well, I do.
I am actually very much like Benedict Cumberbatch in my beliefs.
It's like someone telling a person they just met over the internet who has a profile pic of a guy that they are not a girl. You have no idea who this person is and what they are like.
Also, Buddhism is religion. It provides a set of beliefs for what happens after you die. That is the difference between a philosophy and a religion. Daoism tells you to be calm and one with nature. It tells you how to act throughout your life. Daoism is a philosophy. Buddhism tells you how to act in this life in preparation for the next. Buddhism is a religion. Granted, I might not use the religion side of Buddhism, I might just treat it as a philosophy and have my own beliefs for the afterlife but they are not atheist, christian, or anything else, They are mainly agnostic and Buddhist and since I believe in Buddhist philosophy, I lump them all into one group.
So please stop telling me that I do not have a religion or that I don not practice my religion. It is for me to decide and of no concern of yours.
Thank you,

So Snow Storm
My flight to LA got cancelled because of all of the snow. So now I'm trapped in Indiana. In the cold. And I can't go anywhere. My flight has been moved to Thursday but we're supposed to have another storm on Wednesday so my flight might get delayed another few days. Meanwhile I'm missing tons and tons of school work.
Thanks snow. As if I wasn't worried enough about school.

Korean Age/ True Maknae of U-KISS
So I remembered that Korean age is very specific. So much so that 2 minutes between twins is enough to rank one child higher in status than the other.
Korean age is also a very big deal to any Korean/ in Korean society. If you're older, you are the one that's talked to, and you're also the one that usually makes all the decisions. Ajumas and ajyoshis (grandmas and grandpas) are in very high status in Korea. They can talk on the top of their voice in a train but everyone else will get sushed. They are kind of like the people that no rules apply to an it's because they're older than everybody else.
If you're younger than someone, in Korean society, you have to call them by an honorific. It differs depending on male, female, their relation to you, and your gender. For instance, the maknae is the youngest person in a group. Hyung is an younger male to an older male. Sonbae-nim is from a younger guy to an older guy in a school/ education situation. Oppa is from a girl to an older guy. They older people also have honorifics for younger people.
The older people set the standard of familiarity in a conversation. For instance, when you first meet and older person, you have to greet them with "annyongnaseo" which is the full version of "hello" in Korean, and demonstrates the full amount of respect. However, an older person you just greeted with "annyongnaseo" could return with an "annyong" which is the shortened version of "hello" and often translated to "hi" or "hey." Only in very friendly situations with these people will a younger person be able to say annyong to older people and it usually doesn't even happen in marriages, or in family situations, kind of like dropping the honorifics in Japanese.
This makes dating very difficult in Korea because when you meet a girl, and you greet her with "nuuna" (what a younger male calls an older woman, also translated as "older sister") you run the risk of calling her old looking and offend her. However, if you don't use the right honorific and refer to her as being younger than you, it also might be interpreted as that you think she is inferior.
It's very difficult to get the honorific right when you first meet someone and a lot of Koreans will greet you by blatantly asking what your birth date is, before they even say hello to you.
So a while back I posted a post about the new maknae of U-KISS, now that Dongho was gone, all to find out that, except for Soo Hyun who's 2 years older than everyone else, they're all 22 and that there really wasn't any maknae. Well, there is because they weren't all born on the same day, at the same minute, in the same second, which is how far Korean age specificity goes. So, I went and looked at all of their birth dates and here's what I found: (from oldest to youngest, not counting Soo Hyun)
Kiseop: Jan 17, 1991
AJ: June 4, 1991
Eli: March 13, 1991
Hoon: August 16, 1991
Kevin: November25, 1991
I always thought Hoon was the second oldest but he's the second youngest XD Woah I really didn't know Kevin was the youngest!!!

Sushi Making pt.2
Here are some pics of the sushi we made. We made mainly California rolls because that's really all we had and we all love California rolls. we figured "eh. why not?"
trying to get a shot w/ our first sushi roll
first one made by me
this was the only piece of sushi from the first roll that was saved from the carnage since we ate them as we made them; I decorated the plate w/ Sriracha, cucumber, krab, and spicy mayonnaise
these were saved from the second roll, rolled by my sister
sis rolling sushi
after we roll; it's so pretty :D
I
also made some bacon sushi. I'm going to try and find the pic of it. I
don't know if I got one, but it was delicious. Who knew bacon was good
in sushi? IDK, but it really is. I'll have to make sushi for my buddies
when I get home. :) It's difficult to get the right amount of
ingredients needed. You can't fill it up with too much rice; you have to
make it as thin as possible, but you can't make it too thin because
then you have left over seaweed and it doesn't stick very well but then
you can't overload it with stuff because it won't roll. You want to get
the minimum of rice and the maximum of fillings. And you have to leave
some seaweed free at the top so that you can wrap it. I think where we
really failed was making the rice. You wouldn't think it would be hard,
but it was. It took the longest, it was painstaking and tedious and we
burned them hell out of it. Seasoning seemed to go fairly well but we
screwed up on the cooking part so then we did the steps wrong the rest
of the time It was just a bit of a mess. Still, it was really fun.

New Sherlock Season
So the new Sherlock season is here... and I realize I haven't been building up my emotional resistance whatsoever... so I have to start doing that now. I have until it comes out on Netflix or until it shows on PBS so I'm all good.
How is it that Sherlock is supposed to be the one devoid of emotion but most of the emotion gifs are of him?

MOAR SNOW!!!!!!!
So when we all woke up this morning we had 4 1/2 inches of snow!!!!! My sisters had to leave early in the morning before all the streets/ driveways were plowed so they left VERY CAREFULLY and then Chloe, my niece, and I played in the snow. Sadly, it's still a little too wet to do anything with. When you make snow balls and throw them, they just break apart in a shower of snow. We have to wait a little longer. T-T However, when it is hard enough, I'm going to go make a snow Daalek.
This is me, my niece, and her dog Bowser.
This is my nephew, Paxton John-Russel
